Happy 2011 everyone!!! 2010 was an eventful year and I'm excited to see what 2011 beholds. I recently illustrated 5 New Years Poems and these are three of those illustrations. In Iceland we (well, some of us) believe that something magical happens on New Years day and also on the thirteenth day after Christmas. Elves and fairies honor us with their presence those days and celebrate with us.
